Lee Valley Park Farm (CHEAP!...with discount)

Looking for activities to do whilst we went 'glamping' in the Lee Valley Park was not hard. There are tons of things to do from trails to tennis, horse riding to hockey, fishing to farms. Having managed to find a discount voucher giving us a free child's place for every paying adult, we went along to their hilltop location. The farm is well organised, spacious and open making it a great place to take your time and see all it has to offer. There are of course the usual suspects - sheep, goats, pigs, donkeys and other furry and feathery farm friends but there are also slightly more unusual inhabitants including turkeys, meerkats, llamas and reindeer! Aside from the collection of animals there is a soft play barn, a craft activity room, a couple of cafes, adventure playgrounds, a toboggan ride, a critter corner meet and greet, birds of prey flying display , donkey rides (for an extra £3.50 each) and a tractor ride to an actual milking farm where children can learn how the milk gets from the cow to their bowl of breakfast cereal! Prices were £9.50 for adults and £8.50 for children aged 2 and over. I've found a link offering the same discount we got today (http://www.visitessex.com/special-offers/live-local-voucher.aspx?venue=0220594&soi=5687&pn=Lee+Valley+Park+Farms) but you can also find the same discount voucher on the Lee Valley Park Farm leaflet that can be found in the display cases in many of the Lee Valley campsite shops.
