FREE! Feel Great Britain Festival

So proud of my girls today! Three months ago, when I told them I had signed them up to run a mile (along with me and my hubby), they were excited at first, then nervous, then excited again...and so the cycle continued until...they got to the starting line this morning at which point they decided they were downright petrified. But we held their hands and ran the iconic mile and they were delighted to receive a medal each for their efforts too. But the biggest prize was a great free festival in Green Park put on especially for the runners but open to everyone. We had a great afternoon relaxing in deckchairs listening to the live music and taking part in some free activities. The festival, which is one tomorrow as well, includes free yoga and zumba classes, free children and sports activities, music and entertainment such as stilt walkers and acrobats and food stalls.
