The very beautiful Polesden Lacey

A beautiful day for wandering around in the Surrey countryside and visiting this lavish residence. Apart from acres of space, a woodland playground, beautiful scenery and a fabulous gold leaf panelled room, Polesden Lacey of course gets you ticking some items of your '50 things' list. The NT have also teamed up with Cadburys again this Easter to bring you Easter Egg Hunt Fund. Click on the following link to find your nearest one... https://www.cadbury.co.uk/easter. If you like getting out and about as much as us, the ‪National Trust‬ membership is soooo worth it. For the price of a couple of McD's Happy Meals a month, I can pretty much recoup my annual membership fee in just a couple of outings a year...and we get to visit beautiful places like this! A family membership for one adult and up to five children is £5.75 a month and there are always lots of deals and discounts available so make sure to google for discount codes first. Today's visit would have cost us £5 for parking and £30.20 (1 adult and 2 children) to enter the house and gardens so we've already made back almost half the yearly fee. My sister came along with us today and she ended up signing up too.
