Terrible Tudors at Hampton Court Palace

I don't know about you guys but I love watching Horrible Histories just as much as the kids so I jumped at the chance of going to see them live in the 'Terrible Tudors'. We were a little worried seeing that the tickets had warned that these outdoor performances would take place in any weather and that no umbrellas or chairs would be permitted. It had rained all morning but my trusty(!) weather app said it wouldn't rain all afternoon so off we went. Except it started raining almost the exact moment we walked into the ground of Hampton Court Palace. The idea of sitting out on a lawn for just over an hour with the odd shower and gust of wind was a little daunting but the Horrible Histories crew made it all worth it and actually we hardly noticed the weather as the show was brilliant. I think I can safely say that both the kids and grown ups LOVED it! Take a picnic and a picnic blanket to sit on (or you can hire cushions £1.50 each of 4 for £5). Terrible Tudors is on at HCP until Thursday 2nd June 2016 - ticket prices are Adult: £10 Child: £5 Child under 5: Free (must have ticket) - to book, go to https://ticketslive.hrp.org.uk/hrp/b2c/index.cfm/public.event/eventcode/HTERR?_ga=1.218355481.1839913276.1465065999
