Magical Lantern Festival

Making its UK premiere at Chiswick House and Grounds, the Magical Lantern Festival was truly fabulous. The Lantern Festival is hugely important in Chinese tradition as they celebrate the arrival of their new year. The spectacular lantern displays are spread creatively around pretty much the whole of the grounds and you follow a well organised trail around so you don't miss a thing...but there is A LOT of walking so bear this in mind for little legs. The festival is open until 6th March 2016 and I would recommend a visit, purely to see something quite unique and special. More details can be found on their website http://www.magicallantern.uk/ We managed to get discounted tickets when we booked last month so google for discount codes to see if there any more promotions on offer first.
