FREE! Covent Garden & 'Heartbeat' Art Installation
You could spend a whole day just watching the variety of performers around Covent Garden. We stopped by and watched a number of acts before going to have a look at the temporary art installation currently adorning the Apple Market in Covent Garden - 'Heartbeat' by Charles Pétillon. 100,000 lit baloons have been installed in this 19th Century building that is in fact the heartbeat of Covent Garden. One of my daughters said they looked like clouds while the other thought it was simply 'awesome'. Worth a view if you're in town today or tomorrow as unfortunately the installation's month-long occupancy comes to an end this weekend.
