FREE! Be Inspired Festival

With the start of the 2015 Rugby World Cup tournament imminent, the very lovely people at Hounslow Council put on a fantastic community festival to welcome RWC 2015 and the Webb Ellis Cup into the area. Entry was free and lots of activities for children were provided including an assault course, arts and crafts, face painting, meeting Ruckley (English Rugby mascot), trying out a Police motorcycle for size and being able to come within touching distance of the Cup that the RWC winners will raise with pride in a few weeks time. There was also a funfair and food stalls as well as a live stage showcasing some fabulous acts including Dhol drummers, the Hounslow Youth Orchestra, a Tom Jones tribute, the wonderful Billy Ocean (if anyone has 'When the going gets tough' stuck in their heads now...sorry) and the formidable Revelation Avenue (who were brilliant by the way). Thank you LBH!
