St Paul's Cathedral

Before you all shout at the screen...yes I have taken pictures inside the cathedral and yes I was allowed. There are only 3 days this year in which St Paul's have graciously allowed visitors to freely take photographs inside their glorious building. Whilst I usually make it a rule to find free and cheap things for the kids to do over the holidays, I had to make an exception as this was too good an opportunity for us to miss. We bought our tickets online which knocks a few quid off the £18 (adult) and £8 (6-17yrs) price tag. But with the option to turn our admission tickets into annual passes for free on entry to the cathedral, it still works out a good deal. So today we spent the day marvelling at this masterpiece. Simply amazing interior with stunning architecture, art, design and workmanship. We also climbed the 259 steps up to the top of the infamous dome that boats fabulous views of London.
