As part of the Southbank's Festival of Love we took part in a wonderful free workshop today on the Queen Elizabeth Roof Gardens. The kids really enjoyed getting their hands dirty with clay, making their own pots. They learned the techniques and were able to make gorgeous pots that we could take home to paint. While the pots were drying, we ate lunch on the roof terrace overlooking the River, took a walk along the South Bank and watched some performers entertain the crowds, watched the skateboarders show off their skills and had a walk around the Southbank Centre to see their lights displays.
