May

To celebrate the blossoming of the beautiful horse chesnut trees in the park, come and join in the fun with the Royal Park's annual parade and fair held on a Sunday around the 11th May. The parade usually starts at approx 12.30pm starting from Teddington Gate, travels down Chesnut Avenue towards the Diana Fountain before congregating by the traditional fair, displays and stalls.

Bushy Park

A jam packed schedule of live entertainment.  Ranging from cabaret to family shows, comedy to theatre, there is bound to be something to suit everyone.  And even if you're not catching a show in the great big upside down purple cow auditorium, a lovely space to wander about and maybe catch a bite to eat or sip a drink or two.

Southbank

An extremely varied, weird and wonderful collection of shows held within their 'Paradiso' show tent.

Southbank

Held on the Thursday of the May half-term in Kingston town centre.  Lots of free activities usually on offer including craft workshops, story-telling, face painting, boat rides, hunts and more.

Kingston

Get the whole family active.  A great way to achieve something as a family.  Start the mile run on The Mall and run the perimeter of St James' Park passing Admiralty Arch and Horse Guards Parade on the way before crossing the line outside Buckingham Palace and receiving a medal for your efforts.  If you would like to run you must register all runners on their website (https://www.vitalitywestminstermile.co.uk/) ahead of the day.  And whether you run or come to spectate, Vitality put on a free festival in Green Park with lots of free activities, workshops, displays and entertainment.
